Chirag Patel

Founder and Managing Director

Chirag founded Pathfinder Development with his high school buddy, Rahul Bahl, in 2005 with the intention of leaving a true impression on the hospitality industry. Chirag’s love for architecture shines as he oversees various aspects of the portfolio including analysis and selection of future development opportunities, financial structuring and new construction/renovation management. Prior to founding Pathfinder, he was with the private equity firm American Securities Capital Partners and at the consultancy McKinsey & Co. in the Corporate Finance & Strategy practice. Chirag received a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. When Chirag isn’t in a hard hat at our new developments, you can find him travelling the world with his wife and two kids.

Rahul Bahl

Founder and Managing Director

After founding Pathfinder Development with his high school friend, Chirag Patel, he quickly moved into the role of overseeing multiple aspects of the portfolio. Rahul’s passion for the team radiates as he focuses on revenue generation strategies, operational and HR processes, and he oversees interior design for new properties and properties undergoing renovations. Prior to founding Pathfinder, Rahul received a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University.  When Rahul isn’t visiting all the properties with his dog, Bo, he loves spending as much time in nature as he can, particularly near the water. One day, he even hopes to learn how to swim!

Danielle Schneider

Head of Business Development & Partnerships

As Head of Business Development & Partnerships, Danielle oversees all business growth initiatives. Her leadership and competitive spirit help foster a sales and guest driven culture at each hotel. In addition to leadership in Biz Dev, Danielle is passionate about training and development of team members and spearheads the effort, along with David Rojas, to help Pathfinder develop its team members to their fullest career potential. Prior to joining Pathfinder, Danielle was the Vice-President of Sales at CL Hospitality where she spearheaded the sales efforts of portfolio of hotels in the Midwest. Danielle received a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Hospitality Management from Eastern Illinois University.

David Rojas

Vice President

Joining the Pathfinder Hospitality (previously Pathfinder Development) team as a General Manager for our Staybridge Suites Nasa property in 2012, David quickly proved himself as an operational wiz and was promoted to his current post as Vice President of Operations. As the main operations guy, every property looks to him when it comes to efficiency and quality. When David is road tripping to each property, his favorite pastime is baseball as a Houston Astros fan and loves to snorkel the Carribean reefs and sipping on rum in the sun.

Blake Lindsay

Director, Revenue Management & Business Development

As Revenue Manager, Blake oversees the overall rate strategy at each of the Pathfinder hotels. He works closely with the General Managers and Director of Sales on tactics focused on stealing market share and driving overall profits. Blake is a strong analytics professional with a Certificate focused in Hotel Revenue Management from Cornell University. He has also received his Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) as well as completed the Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) course offered through HSMAI. When Blake isn’t nerding out on data, you can find him hiking the Barton Creek Green Belt or paddle boarding the Colorado River.

Mel Miller

Director, marketing & Business development

Joining Pathfinder in May 2020, Mel brings over 10 years of Marketing experience in various industries to oversee all marketing efforts for Pathfinder Hospitality (previously Pathfinder Development) and for each hotel. She is the go-to person to make something pretty or to write something witty. Her passion for storytelling and the hospitality industry has helped various efforts reach new levels, and it can only continue to grow! Mel received her Bachelors in Design | Media Arts from UCLA and spent 7 years working in the entertainment business before packing up and moving to Austin from LA in 2018. When she isn’t onsite at one of our hotels, she’s either with her niece and nephews or enjoying a glass of Prosecco & playing fetch with her cat, Chazz!

Certifications include HSMAI’s CHBA (Certified Hospitality Business Acumen) & CHDM (Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer).

lerah foreman

marketing & Business Development coordinator

After graduating from Baylor University in 2017 with her Bachelor of Arts in Communications Specialist, Lerah joined Pathfinder Development as a Sales Coordinator and Front Desk Agent focusing on client relations and hotel revenue. Lerah has grown with Pathfinder itself, and transitioned to Sales and Marketing as the Marketing Department was created. 
As of May 2021, Lerah joined the corporate team and has taken on the role of Marketing and Business Development Coordinator. Her passion is to produce top-tier digital assets and to provide incredible Platinum Service. When not working, Lerah loves going to live music shows and taking advantage of Austin’s outdoor activities. 

Tona Allen

Area Director of Sales

Ms Allen joined our team in 2013 as Opening Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn NW Arboretum. She went on to open our Residence Inn SW Austin hotel in 2016. She began her career in Los Angeles, California as a National Sales Manager and worked for Hilton Hotels, Millennium Hotels and Omni Hotels and Resorts where she received numerous awards and accolades. When not in the office, you can find Tona spending her free time with her family in Cedar Park, Texas.

mason sisto

Senior Accountant

As the newest member of the Pathfinder Hospitality (previously Pathfinder Development) off-property team, Mason brings 5 years of accounting experience to our industry! He got his start in commercial real estate accounting and now shifts his focus to ensure timely and accurate reporting for each of our assets. Mason graduated from University of Houston with a major in Finance. In his spare time, Mason enjoys spending time with his family and pup, Millie!
