After another unpredictable year with much in the air for the industry as a whole, Pathfinder Hospitality is excited to announce that 3 of our Texas hotels have ranked in the top 6% in overall RevPAR throughout Texas. All 3 hotels are extended stay brands in different markets such as Southwest Austin, Houston/Humble, TX, and Houston/Webster, TX. These outstanding rankings are have been consistent due to Pathfinder’s commitment to Platinum Service and going “Above & Beyond” for our internal and external guests. As a management company, our biggest internal push is to drive value to our customers and that helps drive rate so we can outpace our competitors in each market.
Out of 6,428 Texas hotels reporting on RevPar, the Residence Inn Austin Southwest ranked in the top 2% at #123. The Staybridge Suites Humble/Generation Park ranked in the top 3% at #214 and the Staybridge Suites Webster/Clear Lake finished in the top 6% at #378.
In addition to the over all Texas rankings, the brand performances were outstanding and each of these hotels landed in the top of their brands. The Residence Inn Austin Southwest is the 2nd ranked Residence Inn by Marriott for the brand in all of Texas with a $111.34 RevPAR where the brand average RevPAR landed at $80.49 (outperformed by 38%). Staybridge Suites Humble/Generation Park was the #3 Staybridge Suites for the brand in all of Texas with a $100.76 RevPAR and the brand average was $75.72 (outperformed by 33%). And finally, the Staybridge Suites Webster achieved a $89.65 RevPAR and the brand average was $75.72 (outperformed by 18%).
To maintain these stellar results, Pathfinder Hospitality emphasized their mission, vision, and core values and encouraged every team across the board to provide unrivaled hospitality in their respective markets. Where a lot of hotels were ditching things like breakfast and the socials, Pathfinder teams have found a way to not only do it, but to do it better and in a way that is safe and delicious for our guests. Teams are also encouraged to provide monthly activities, National holiday celebrations, and out-of-the-box ways to make our guests feel like when they’re in our hotels, they’re home. Another fun trend that caught on across the portfolio was our pet rock movement where teams and guests stayed engaged through creativity.
